July 23 , 2016 - 1:00pm - 2:45pm:   Meet the Author & Book Signing

In conjunction with the Traveling Wall (AVTT) (http://www.americanveteranstravelingtribute.com/) in Cleveland in July, meet author and photographer Mark Zannoni as he discusses and presents images from Vietnam: 35 Years After the Fall of Saigon, A Photographic Narrative (www.35yearsafter.com). (ISBN 978-1-8897-4817-7).

Released in late 2014, the book provides a multidisciplinary insight into contemporary Vietnam from the perspective of the war, documenting the remnants of war, peace and reconciliation, US-Vietnam diplomacy, and the social and economic development of post-war Vietnam. The title represents an American perspective (vs an official Vietnamese version) of the War from within Vietnam today, providing new data and insight through the medium of images to document the country.

This event is sponsored by Cuyahoga County Public Library in conjunction with the AVTT Traveling Memorial Wall.

Meet the Author / Photographer: On the anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, April 30th, meet author and photographer Mark Zannoni as he discusses and presents images from his latest documentary, Vietnam: 35 Years After the Fall of Saigon, A Photographic Narrative. (ISBN 978-1-8897-4817-7.)

The book provides a multidisciplinary insight into contemporary Vietnam from the perspective of the war, documenting the remnants of war, peace and reconciliation, US-Vietnam diplomacy, and the social and economic development of post-war Vietnam. This event is co-sponsored by Cuyahoga County Public Library and the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities at Case Western Reserve University as part of the first annual Cleveland Humanities Festival.

October 8, 2015 - 7:00pm:   Meet the Author & Book Signing

Author and photographer Mark Zannoni will be presenting  the story behind the development of the book and taking questions from the public at the Lakewood Public Library, on the West Side of Cleveland.  Details and location information can be found here.

May 6, 2015:   Kindle Book Lending Program

As of today, the book participates in the Kindle Book Lending Program. The program enables Amazon customers who purchase a Digital Book to lend it out under certain Amazon rules. (In addition to Amazon’s Kindle Store, the e-book version of the book is also available for Barnes & Noble’s Nook and from Apple iBooks. The e-book is only $9.99—and much lighter than the 4-pound hardcover edition!)

April 26, 2015:   Barnes & Noble SOLD OUT--again!

It looks like Barnes & Noble is once again sold out of its inventory of the book as of this weekend. We will work them to restock their supplies as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience. In the meantime, e-books are available or the hardcover can be ordered here.

The book is now available online from Barnes & Noble.  The book may also be ordered at any store for pick up in the store (for those who don't like to purchase items online).

January 21, 2015:   E-book Release

Though the title was developed as a medium-to-large format coffee table book (approx. 10" x 10"), we had received hundreds of requests for a e-book version. In response to these requests, we are pleased to announce an e-book version of the book is released today for the Amazon Kindle, iPad, Nook, and other e-readers. E-book suppliers may be found here.
